OUTREACH
Serving One Another, Loving Our Community
Serving in Jesus’ Name
Although small in number, our congregation is wholeheartedly committed to serving our neighbors.
At St. Anskar’s, outreach is more than charity; it is one of the ways we serve in Jesus’ name and live out our call to love our neighbors. Through hands-on service, collections, community partnerships, and financial support, we respond to needs here in Lake Country and beyond.
Our members feed families, build beds and provide bedding for children, collect clothing and household supplies, support women and children in crisis, provide school supplies, and help neighbors experiencing homelessness. We also host Red Cross blood drives and participate in seasonal projects that extend our care beyond our immediate community.
We are grateful to partner with organizations doing this critical work and we continue to seek new ways to serve our neighbors with compassion, recognizing Christ in those we are called to serve.
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.”
